Mirage stands for Multi-platform Interactive Real-time
Advanced
Graphics Engine. Mirage is still in the design stages, but the
features for version 1.0 include:

Device input (mouse, keyboard, etc.)

Windows will be the primary target system, but Mirage will also be designed to
support Linux, MacOS, etc.

Not restricited to DirectX, Win32 sound, TCP/IP, etc.

easily extensible to add or replace features and functionality (such as
physics, AI, etc.)
